Hello crafty friends. Long time no see. There are some things happening in my life right now so this is why I’ve been away for such a long time but I will be returning to crafting and blogging soon. For now I want to share with you an exciting thing happening around the world. It’s about Stamped around the World. A great idea that is debuting with a blog hop.
What is Stamped around the World you might ask. Well in short it’s all about crafting and sharing what you craft with other people. In long words here is the story:
As a cardmaker I enjoy making and giving cards away. It is a beautiful way to make someone smile. But how about making cards and sending them away in the mail box? Imagine finding a beautiful envelope through the nasty monthly bills. Nice thought. Well now it’s your chance to make someone’s day better by making a card and sending it. But before you do it, you need to know a few things.
-> don’t write inside the card. This card is meant to travel from a person to another, from a country to another. Instead write your message onto a post it and insert that inside the card.
-> it would be nice to know how many people got the card, so please take a photo with the card before sending it and the next person to do the same step and upload the photo on social media by the following hashtag #stampedaroundtheworld
For this blog hop I have created this card using the Anemone Stamp Set from WPlus9 to create the background. To make the card shine a little I have added some metallic accents using the Nuvo Embellishment Mousse from Tonic Studios.
The butterflies are also painted with this gorgeous shades of mousse.
Would you like to win a goodies bag from Tonic Studios? That’s great! All you have to do is leave a comment on each blog for a chance to win a surprise bundle from Tonic Studios. The winner will be announced on Lollyrot Scrapbooking’s blog on 27 May.
Now here is the complete list of participants. If you came here from Ellen than you are right on track. If not, go see her creations and come back for the next stop in the blog hop which is Tonic Studios.
