Happy anniversary card

I made this card specially for Altenew Inspiration challenge post and I hope I am still in time to link it to the challenge.

Altenew Inspiration Challenge

It’s a long time since I’ve made some cards so I challenged myself to take part in this challenge. I love Altenew stamps and I love how my card turned out.

The picture is a little bit wonky but in my defense I was in a hurry. For my card I used the Golden Garden stamp set from Altenew. I love it! It is so versatile.

I stamped the flowers and leaves with Jet Black Ranger Archival Ink onto Tim Holtz watercolor paper and than slightly colored them with watercolors. To add a little bit of interest I put some Glossy Accents at the base of the leaves.

I cut down the paper with Avery Elle Double Pierced Rectagles die. I love this die set and the look that it gives to the paper.\

Happily Ever After cards

I’ve had two orders for wedding gifts the other week so I made also 2 wedding cards to accompany them. I got inspired by the current Simon Says Stamp Challenge – “Simon Says We’re going Dotty” and I’ve used the Simon Says Stamp May 2015 card kit.

DSC_9832The two cards are pretty similar. I used the floral paper included in the kit. I fell in love with this peachy rose color. It is so beautiful. Fact about me: I am not a fan of gold, not even for jewelry, but I find this peach and golden dots paper super cute.

Here is the second card I did. It also has spots/dots of gold and the same floral paper that I find very beautiful.DSC_9836DSC_9835DSC_9837Thanks for stopping by!

Shadow box

The other day I was telling you I have another project in progress using the Polish Kit Project. I finally finished it and I can show it to you.

DSC_9460It is my first ever shadow box and I am very pleased with how it turned out. This particular shadow box is from and it was part of the Polish Kit Project for the month of June.

As you can see I am pretty in love with this kit as I already made 2 projects. I am planning to do a card also in the near future.

Save the date layout

DSC_9446Some time ago I stumbled upon the Polish Kit Project Facebook page. I was very impressed by the mood boards they have each month. Being all written in Polish I didn’t quite understood what it is all about. But one magic day I wrote them a private message and I was happy to find out they are sending the kits worldwide if requested. I decided to give it a try even though the mood board had lots of gold accents and gold is not really my favorite color. When the kit arrived I was very happy. And for my surprise it was not full of gold at all. Happy dance here. Come take a look.

Beautiful, isn’t it? While I was busy making my happy dance for receiving the kit, sweet Yasmin form Studio Yasmin challenged me to make a project using the kit within 2 weeks. I am happy to report that I succeeded. Aaaand… I am happy to report that my second project using the kit is in the making right now. Soon I will show that one also.

Ok. So I made a layout using some beautiful papers from the kit. The papers are from “The story of us” collection from Simple Stories and they are simply amazing. Love them. The layout features a picture taken the day after I was proposed. In the background there you see the beautiful Paris. The picture was taken on the stairs of Sacre Coeur Church. So many beautiful memories from that city. And yes, if you must know, I got proposed in the top of the Eiffel Tower at sunset.

Except the leaves that where cut from another Simple Stories paper that was not in the kit everything else was part of this awesome kit (the flowers, the trim, the paper and the stickers)
